SUMMARY:Jumping Team Training
DESCRIPTION:Join other members for a group military lesson in Knightsbridge. These lessons are an exclusive opportunity for members to ride the Queen’s horses from the Household Cavalry. The horses are forward going and spirited so riders must be confident and competent handling a strong and sometimes excitable ride! Please see the Household Cavalry Venue Page for more information. \nPlease note the following: \nYou will be required to tack up your horse unaided\nLessons are not hosted by a representative from RCL every week so please ask a member of HCMR staff for assistance if required\nHaving a Personal Accident Insurance Policy is mandatory for these lessons as the venue is not a regular riding school and so is not covered by regular riding school insurances. All members taking lessons at the Barracks must bring a photocopy of the summary page of their insurance policy which is to be given to the instructor before the lesson.\nMembers must also bring a copy of the non-disclaimer form which will be emailed to you when you book.\nPlease also bring photographic ID.\nIf you haven’t ridden at the barracks before please note you must ride in the 8pm lesson for your first time.\nLessons must be booked by the Monday prior to the lesson at midday.\nMembers who do not comply with these strict requirements will forfeit their lesson\, and will risk our relationship with the Barracks going forward. Please also note that it is a privilege for us to be allowed access to the Cavalry horses and it is worth noting that these lessons can be cancelled at last minute or rescheduled to other dates. Lessons are also only available at times throughout the year when the horses are not on breaks or in use for ceremonial duties. In the case that any lessons paid for are cancelled by the Cavalry and cannot be rescheduled\, a refund will be made direct to each member or a credit held on their account. \nLesson times and cost \nLessons are held on Wednesday evenings during periods when the horses are not on annual breaks or required for ceremonial duties at 7pm and 8pm – please note that if it is your first time riding at the barracks you will be required to join the later lesson.
